What I am Thankful For...

I am thankful for many things in my life.  A few things are my doggy, my 10 baby calves, my father, mother, and grandmother. I am also thankful for my boyfriend, Davie, my best friend, Jenna, and my ability to play the piano. Being successful has always been a goal of mine and I am very thankful that I am as successful as I am. I am also thankful for being able to go to church and school.

Reflection to the Spreadsheet Test

We finished our spreadsheet test last week. I was very pleased with my grade. I received a 140/150. This project wasn't as hard as I figured it was going to be. I enjoyed making a keynote with lots of steps, but I wish we would have gotten to pick a topic to write about instead of having to explain spreadsheets. I feel like I am very prepared to make these spreadsheets and charts in high school and feel that i will succeed. I look forward to our next keynote.
There are a few things that I could have done better on my test. I needed to include how to share my spreadsheet. I looked over my rubric quiet a few times to see what to do better on next time.

Making Spreadsheets

I thought that it was boring making the charts and graphs. I didn't think that it was difficult or anything of that sort, it just wasn't very exciting. Making charts and graphs in high school will be easier to make because of this lesson. Putting all of the data in the different kinds of charts was pretty cool. I was amazed when it was so easy to upload data and transfer it to a chart. I learned how make averages and collect data with just the push of a button!

My Digital Footprint

 My Digital Footprint

Ten years from now, I want people to remember me for some certain things I've done. I plan to go to college and study to be a Psycologist. It's always been a goal of mine to grow up and help people cope with their problems that they feel no one else cares about. I would also like to be known as someone who worked hard and was successful. Being a quitter is never an option with me.
In 7th grade, I got second place in the science fair. I have always enjoyed science and feel that I really accomplished something. I plan to enter a project every year in the science fair all through high school. I really want people to think of me as a successful, hardworking, polite person as I get older.

My Favorite App

  My Favorite App

I've had my iPad for a while now and I've found an app that i really like. This app would be Keynote. I used Keynote last year and I really enjoyed using it. I have found that it is an easy tool to use to create presentations. When on the app, you will press "add presentaton". From there, you will begin creating a presentation. I created several keynotes for GATE last year and recieved good grades on all of them. You can insert pictures and videos into your keynotes. Sharing a keynote with another student or a teacher is also very simple with this app. I've used Keynote for a while now, and i will continue to use it throughout school.

Make your Mark

Make Your Mark

There are many ways you can make your mark on the world. It could be something you do for your country, such as joining the Army. It could also be something that you do for your community, like spending an afternoon picking up trash in the park or organizing a food drive.
There’s always someone that could use a helping hand in your neighborhood. You could rake leaves for the elderly woman who lives down the street from you, or take the trash out for your grandfather. Sometimes just being a good person, who puts others before themselves is making your mark on the world!
